When You're Ready to Plan.....

Allow Blueprints By Design to prepare a Blueprint Package customized for you.

Here's what may be included:

*Cover Sheet:

A CAD generated drawing showing either a one-point or two-point perspective of your home with full rendering. Also may include sample tree and shrub locations with driveway and sidewalk layouts. Included is the floor plan layout with room names and a table listing the total square footage.

Exterior Elevations:

All four elevations shown drawn to 1/4 or 1/8 scale with exterior surface materials. Building heights and roof pitches are shown on these plans. With all window and doors in the correct location.

Detailed Floor Plans:

Drawn at 1/4 or 1/8 scale, these plans show the layout for each floor of your house. Included are complete dimensions and door and window sizes. Keys to the interior elevations are provided as well as fixture layouts for kitchen and bath's.

Foundation Plan:

Drawn at 1/4 or 1/8 scale, these plans show the layout of the basement to your house if necessary. Crawl space may be shown with footer and pier dimensions. Notes as to how to construct the slab in garages may also be shown on this plan.

Roof Plan:

Drawn at 1/8 or 1/16 scale, these plan shows the layout of peaks and valley on your roof. Also shown is fireplace openings, saddles, and roof overhangs.

*Cross Sections:

This drawing shows how the house is stacked from level to level. Included is the foundation and roof sections and wall sections. This drawing is important as it allows the contractor to see how walls stack from one floor to the next.

*Interior Elevations:

Drawn at 1/2 or 1/4 scale, these plans show how kitchen and bath cabinets and appliances could look. Also may show details of stair wells and built in cabinets.

Section and Details:

Various scales show typical views of wall construction, porch construction, cabinet sections, rafter details, crawl space sections, fireplace construction. Included is a fireplace size chart with dimensions for various size fireplaces. Plans may also show supporting post for basement construction.

Finish Schedule:

This is a chart included that has been customized to match the rooms in your home. This chart is to be filled out by the home owner showing the contractor the type of floor coverings, wall coverings, and ceiling textures to be used.

General Notes:

A set of notes customized for you home. Listing information for live and dead loads on the roof structure. Materials to be used for all construction, types of insulation, concrete psi, and many other useful notes to help the home owner better understand how the home is constructed.

**Standard set of plans is 2 sets, however additional sets can be printed as      needed.
