Jonathan Hughes DBA Blueprints By Design is a 1996 graduate from Logan Co. High School and a 1998 graduate from Bowling Green Advance Technology Center with a degree in architectural and mechanical design and drafting. In May of 2004 Jonathan graduated from Western Kentucky University receiving a degree in Computer Information Systems, and a degree in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in Mechanical Design Engineering.

Jonathan started his career with a contract drafting and engineering firm located in Russellville, KY. While with this firm, Jonathan worked on numerous projects with architectural and engineering firms from all around Kentucky and Tennessee. Companies such as BWSC, Bowing Aircraft, Ross Tarrant Architects, Logan Aluminum, Precision Printing & Packaging, Hardaway Construction, and others. Jonathan is now working with the engineering department for Warren, Simpson, and Butler County Water Districts.

Jonathan has experience with laying out a design and drafting house plans ranging from 2,000 square feet up to 8,000 square feet under roof. Also Jonathan has helped several couples design additions onto their existing homes. Working with small business to design a working layout for their start up business. Working with four separate churches on five different additions onto their sanctuary and educational buildings. Some of the plans mentioned above you can view on the projects page of this web site.
